Meet the Owner – Maureen Garay
Maureen Garay is a disabled veteran . She served in the U.S. Army as part of the Army Culinary Team, earning trophies and medals from the Secretary of State for her innovative culinary designs. This experience,Maureen has expertly design and execute catering, décor, and event experiences with creativity, professionalism, and flair.
She also has over 25 years in early childhood education and Certified Program director specialized in youth Education. a degree in Business from Collin College and child Development from Texas Woman’s University (TWU).
Before founding Kokomo Entertainment, Maureen served as a Youth Program Director and Early Education Teacher, creating safe, engaging, and enriching environments for children. Her extensive background gives her a unique perspective on creating fun, educational, and age-appropriate experiences for kids of all ages.
At Kokomo Entertainment, Maureen personally ensures that every service — from rentals , entertainment service — is executed with creativity, professionalism, and care.
Her mission is simple: to celebrate life’s special moments with joy, creativity, and heart, while living her faith through service, community, and family fun.
