Event Water Monitor
Role Overview:
- Provides active water safety supervision for events with pools, splash zones, or water attractions
- Ensures a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all guests
Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor swimmers and water-play areas
- Enforce water safety rules and event guidelines
- Respond quickly to emergencies and incidents
- Administer basic first aid and CPR
- Maintain clear visibility of assigned zones
- Manage crowd control in water areas
- Communicate with event staff and coordinators
- Assist with opening and closing water areas

- Splash pad events

- HOA events
- Corporate family days
Due to liability, we cannot lifeguard private events held at a semi-public pool (HOA, condo or apartment complex, etc.), or public pool unless you, the host, have chartered the whole pool for your event exclusively.
All children 5 and under must ALWAYS be within arm’s length of their guardian while in the water. Lifeguards will enforce this so please let attendees know beforehand and plan ahead to get in the water.

- Lifeguards are scheduled and paid a minimum of 3 hours per event.
- Suggest Rule for water ssafety is to hire 1 person for every 20 people in the water. Â
